About Georgie
Hi! My name is Georgie, I'm a recent graduate in Archaeology from the University of Cambridge, and Classics from the University of Durham. I'm eager to help you learn and really develop confidence in English (language and literature), Latin, Classics, Religious Studies and Ancient History. I'll be showing you how to break down translation, essay topics, and exam questions to completely understand what is being asked of you. In my free time, I run a book club and I'm also a competitive Powerlifter!

Lessons are personalised, with an emphasis on critical thinking and understanding through careful reading and asking leading questions. This approach ensures the student fully realises the content and how they have been able to arrive at a certain conclusion. Lessons will typically be one hour, but varying lengths are possible on request. I have experience in safeguarding as an activity coach at a community sports camp, educating children in team sports and crafting activities. My tutoring experience previously was aimed at undergraduates, leading module seminars and discussion groups, however with extensive background knowledge on these subjects through GCSEs, A-Levels and University degrees, I am capable of adapting content to the necessary level. As such, my lessons are intended for ages 11-21, as well as any adult learners.
