About Lea

I'm a 22-year-old masters student studying Gender, Development and Globalisation at the LSE after graduating from Cambridge University in politics and sociology earlier this year. Throughout my undergraduate I gained a broad and in-depth foundation in politics, IR and social theory. Beside these subjects, I'm also offering tutoring in German and Spanish. German is my mother tongue and I'm fluent in written and spoken Spanish due to multiple stays abroad. Throughout my secondary school years I have tutored younger students in various subjects, primarily within the social sciences and languages. Studying at Cambridge in my second language has equipped me further with the skills to make both languages and questions in politics and sociology accessible and teach students how to engage with them most successfully.

I would like to highly endorse Lea as a tutor. I got to study with her for three years at University and can testify for her ability to explain complex issues in tangible, every day language. She is a pleasure to work with and has a great attitude towards solving problems, which I believe will serve her well in all teaching endeavours. She helped me grasp complex political concepts outside of my area of study by breaking these down and walking me through them. As a friend and academic colleague, I can also speak of Lea's incredibly work ethic, as she is very diligent and thoroguh, even in stressful times. You would be lucky to have her as your tutor.
