My approach to tutoring is friendly, focused, and tailored to each student’s unique learning style. I place a strong emphasis on developing problem-solving skills, which are essential not only for exam success but also for applications to top universities. Through clear explanations, guided examples, and plenty of practice, I help students learn how to break down complex problems and think critically and independently. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and include time for reviewing key concepts, tackling challenging questions, and building exam technique. I have one year of experience tutoring fellow school students and understand how to explain ideas in a way that’s relatable and easy to follow. I achieved straight 9s at GCSE and am predicted all A*s at A-level, with recent experience completing A-levels and the university application process. As a Cambridge and Imperial College Mathematics offer holder, I also provide first-hand insight into admissions tests and university interviews, having successfully completed them myself, helping students prepare effectively for the next stage of their academic journey. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-level students who want to improve their understanding, sharpen their problem-solving abilities, and prepare for competitive university applications.
