About Allegra

I have NINE full years of experience teaching various art forms to students ranging from four years old to college level! I love teaching very much and the inspiration that is shared in each class. I believe arts education helps the world become a better, brighter place to live. I work two days a week teaching animation to middle schoolers at Center for the Arts Eagle Rock where I've been working for almost four years. I have a degree from the animation program at California Institute of the Arts that has an acceptance rate that is as small as Harvard University. I have a strong background in figure drawing, painting, charcoal, pastel, sculpture, the Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling programs, and a whole array of other art forms. I love to pass this knowledge along and have a great amount of patience, dilegence, and compassion :)

About the lesson

I base my classes on each student’s personal interests to help them develop their own unique voice through the visual arts. I create detailed lesson plans geared toward the chosen skillsets each student wishes to develop. I like to expose every student to a broad range of artistic medium to help them discover which creative tools truly inspire them to make art.
