About Chiara
Hello, I'm Chiara, I'm 20 years old. I am a business major in the ISG Lyon international business school, and I passed my european scientific baccalaureate/A levels with the highest honors in 2017. I then decided to apply for med school where I discovered it wasn't my vocation to become a doctor. Therefore I chose to take a gap year to travel but also to prepare my exam to enter my business school. Thanks to these trips I had the chance to improve my English but also my Italian a lot. I'm also studying Japanese and Mandarin at my school. I am currently preparing the IELTS, which is an English certification, in order to study abroad, preferably in Asia or Canada.

I try to adapt my methodology according to the student I work with. I do not think I have one specific method nor the best one, some people learn and memorize easily by speaking, others by writing and it is important to take these memorization techniques into consideration. English is first and foremost a living language, one gets better by practicing it REGULARLY but especially by taking pleasure in the process of learning it. It must not become a constraint !

Details
The student's level does not impact the price of my lessons, but the distance and therefore the trip to get to the destination are to take into consideration. If I have to travel longer than the usual the price may vary from 2 to 3 extra euros. I can also give lessons through video communications if people aren't willing to pay more for a longer trip, if this method is chosen, the price remains the same.
