About Hashim
As someone who was raised with good morals and values but also high expectations, I understand the importance of being a good person and working towards the best version of you, but I also understand the pressure that it comes with.
In a world of distractions, I know how hard it is to stay focused when most places and people don't understand all the things that are racing through young peoples' minds.
Having worked with young people for a number of years out of my own time as a volunteer, I know the importance of building a relationship and my goal is to use the time with my students to build their confidence and ability step-by-step, helping them open doors to their future.

My approach to teaching focuses on making learning engaging and practical while building a relationship with my students.
Drawing on my 3+ years of experience as a volunteer teacher, I use clear explanations, questioning, discussion, real-world examples and interactive activities to help students understand concepts rather than simply memorise them.
I adapt lessons to different learning styles, abilities, and individuals' goals, while creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
Lessons will typically last 1-2 hours, with the structure adjusted according to the student's age, attention span, and objectives.
As a business graduate with a BA (Hons) in HRM and Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, I bring strong academic knowledge alongside practical experience of teaching young people.
My aim is not only to improve academic performance, but to develop confidence, critical thinking and independent learning skills.
