About Prashant
As a tutor, my background is rich and diverse, providing a solid foundation for effective teaching and mentorship. With 10 years of experience in maths, I bring a deep understanding of the subject matter combined with a passion for helping others succeed.
My educational background includes Bachelors of Technology in Computer Science, where I honed my expertise in mathematics, problem solving, and computer science. Additionally, I have completed my Masters in Business Management from the University of Leeds. This formal education is complemented by practical experience gained through my professional work experience by working as an analyst at one of the biggest market research firms in the world. I really like to teach mathematics in my free time as it motivates me to stay close to the subject as well as help students in need.

In my tutoring approach, I aim to foster a dynamic learning environment that caters to the unique needs and learning styles of each student. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing their questions and uncertainties.
First and foremost, I take the time to understand the student's current level of understanding and identify their specific goals and challenges. This allows me to tailor my teaching methods accordingly, whether it involves breaking down complex concepts into more manageable parts, providing additional practice materials, or employing alternative teaching strategies.
I emphasise the importance of regular feedback and assessment to track progress and identify areas for improvement. I provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments, highlighting strengths and areas needing development, and work with students to set achievable goals and action plans.
My lessons can be 30 minutes/1 hour long depending on the requirement of the student and topic being covered.
