I am a technical business analyst with a passion for mathematics and its applications in the real world. I received my BA in Applied Mathematics and have 3+ years of tutoring experience, teaching all levels of math from Pre-Algebra to Calculus II.

My approach to teaching is to assess what skills my students possess as well as what their learning styles are. My teaching techniques are based in working with their strengths and building off of their current understanding of concepts. When it comes to teaching new concepts, I break down the concepts into terms they would be familiar with, provide examples, and work with the students through new problems. In this process, I encourage my students to develop problem solving and analytical skills.
