About Chaw M
Hi, I’m Chaw! I am a native Burmese speaker who is also fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. I enjoy helping others learn languages in a patient, welcoming, and encouraging environment. I have experience tutoring students from different backgrounds and academic levels, which has taught me to adapt my teaching style to each learner’s needs. I also have experience working in healthcare settings and can help students who are interested in learning Burmese for medical and healthcare communication. Whether you are starting from the basics or hoping to become more confident in conversation, I will work with you at a comfortable pace and help you reach your individual language goals.

My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning goals. I focus on practical Burmese for everyday conversations while helping students build a strong foundation in pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and writing. A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, learning new vocabulary and expressions, conversation practice, and answering questions.
As a native Burmese speaker with experience in healthcare settings, I can also teach Burmese vocabulary and communication commonly used in medical settings for students or healthcare professionals who are interested. I also incorporate cultural context to help students understand how Burmese is naturally used in different situations. My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners of all ages, whether they are learning Burmese for travel, family, work, healthcare, or personal interest.
