About Taryn
I hold a BSc in Mathematics and Philosophy and bring over 3 years of tutoring experience to every lesson. Math, for me, is about clarity, creativity, and connection. I rely on interactive software like GeoGebra and Desmos to explain geometry and trigonometry dynamically. These tools allow learners to manipulate ideas and see results instantly. I’m especially passionate about teaching spatial reasoning and geometric proofs. Real-world modeling excites me, from designing structures to understanding natural patterns. Visualizing complex ideas is my specialty, and I adapt that skill for learners of all backgrounds. I break down challenges into approachable steps. Short activities, discussions, and visuals make concepts stick. I believe every student can grow confident with math when they’re given the right approach. My sessions aim to build both understanding and curiosity. Let’s explore geometry together and discover its fascinating applications.

I believe math is best learned through stories, connections, and curiosity. My lessons are warm, interactive, and designed to ease math anxiety. With patience and creativity, I help students discover a new perspective on numbers. Logical puzzles are one of my favorite tools for building problem-solving skills. Historical math anecdotes bring context and spark interest. Pattern recognition activities keep lessons dynamic and rewarding. I rely on visual aids and simple games to simplify complex topics. Real-world examples make math relatable and practical. I work closely with Quant and Economist learners to strengthen analytical thinking. My commitment is to ensure lessons are both engaging and effective. Each student’s unique learning style is respected and supported. Progress is celebrated as confidence grows. Together, we transform math from intimidating to enjoyable.
