About Nittin
Hello and welcome! I’m Nittin Bhagat — a passionate educator, civil engineer, and lifelong learner. With a Gold Medal in B.Tech (Civil Engineering), top school rankings, and a track record of academic excellence, I bring both experience and dedication to every class I teach. I’ve worked as a Senior Engineer with Larsen & Toubro on a high-value industrial project worth ₹1100 crore, where I led planning and client billing roles. But beyond engineering, my true calling has always been teaching — a passion reflected in my ongoing M.Sc. in Geography and over 40+ certifications from top institutions like IITs and IGNOU in subjects ranging from environmental science and hydraulics to leadership and soft skills. Drawing from my academic excellence (96% in B.Tech, University Gold Medalist) and industry experience at Larsen & Toubro, I use examples from civil engineering and environmental sciences to make abstract topics relatable. I employ techniques such as: Interactive lectures with visual aids (diagrams, PPTs) NPTEL-inspired structured modules, integrating MOOCs and multimedia Problem-based learning, especially for engineering and geography concepts Bilingual explanation (English + regional languages like Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi) to make content more accessible Weekly revision and doubt-clearing sessions to reinforce learning 2. Usual Structure of a Class: Each session typically follows this flow: Introduction (5 mins): Recap of the previous topic, setting the objective Core Teaching (25–30 mins): Concept explanation, examples, diagrams Activity/Interaction (10–15 mins): Quiz, problem-solving, discussion Summary & Homework (5–10 mins): Key takeaways and practice tasks This structure is adjusted depending on the complexity of the topic and the learners' level. 3. Special Features as a Teacher: Multi-disciplinary expertise: With certifications in areas like remote sensing, fluid mechanics, project management, and environmental science from IITs and IGNOU, I bring depth and breadth across subjects.
