About Amelia
I work on a med-surg floor as a nurse in my local hospital. My husband and I are in the process of preparing to move to Uganda to intern at a medical center. We met in college where I was his chemistry tutor (turns out he didn’t need help solving those long stoichiometry equations…) The next year we tutored that chemistry class together as co-tutors and lab assistants. Later that year, I also tutored a group of first semester nursing students. I love helping people learn and I would definitely have become a teacher if I didn’t have a passion for being a nurse!
