About Angela

Welcome everyone! I am Angela, a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Sciences. I have always been fascinated with understanding the natural world and my enthusiasm in sciences earned me Magna Cum Laude during my years in science education. I find joy in painting, sharing my knowledge and skills, and learning something new from others.

I have taught and handled a class of highschool students as a pre-service teacher, and have taught literacy and numeracy to elementary students for a community project. Science is a discipline that integrates other subjects like math and language. These subjects may feel overwhelming at first but a strong understanding of the basics and principles could get you far in most topics. My goal is to clear the basics and simplify advance levels so that you have the mental space to actually do science, which is to wonder, to experiment, and to experience the genuine click of understanding that makes it worth liking.

What can I offer?
[Science, Mathematics, English]
✧ easy-to-understand lessons
✧ clear explanations
✧ fun and engaging way to learn topics
✧ structured process based on clear objectives
✧ personalized to your needs
✧ homework assistance
✧ exam preparation
✧ interactive learning materials
✧ practical examples that make the subject meaningful and relatable for you

My educational background covered wide varieties of science and math subjects such as chemistry, earth/environmental science, genetics, thermodynamics, electricity & magnetism, astronomy, cell & molecular biology, meteorology, waves & optics, anatomy & physiology, modern physics, microbiology & parasitology etc. I can teach you from fundamental concepts to advance level in whichever subjects you require help with.

About the lesson

In my class, we simplify intimidating formulas and complex terms so you can experience that satisfying 'click' of understanding in science and mathematics. Most of the topics on these subjects are connected, you may even think of them as levels. It will be difficult to face Level 5 when you haven't conquered the previous levels or gained the required knowledge or skills.

Students learn differently. I don't want you to think that you're lacking just because you got something wrong or you didn't understand a concept the first time. Mistakes are actually part of learning. They are information that tells us what we might have missed or what we can do better. I personalized each lesson based on your learning style, pace, and specific needs.

I know you want to see real progress, whether for your child or for yourself, and I take that responsibility seriously through having a structured process.

Here is how I do it:
✧ Our first session starts with a quick diagnostic to find out exactly where you're struggling at.
✧ I build a clear roadmap so you always know our learning goals.
✧ After every session, you get an update on what we conquered and what’s next.

If you're ready to give yourself the tools, structure, and support you need, come and join my class. Let's work on it together!
