About Emihle

I am a young witty female trying her best to make her mark in the world . I am interested in teaching because I believe in education and I believe in the saying " it takes a village to raise a child " , i want to help raise a child too . Throughout my high school years I realised that in as much as at the end of the day I would be walking out with my own NSC Certificate alone , I still need help obtaining it I made study groups with my dormmates and classmates . We formed different groups for different subjects and I realised that sometimes we don't perform badly because we don't know the information we need assistance here and there , we need guidance and a little push sometimes . I would consult my teachers and sometimes it would seem like they were making my life difficult little did I know that they were pushing me for greatness . I still use the same methods in University and they work . I have tutored my classmates and I performed a great job at it .

About the lesson

My lessons are test and exam preparation based , meaning that the content we will dwell much on is what will be asked in tests and examinations . The lessons mostly provide skills to use to master assessments which are skills I have used , learned from my teachers and some from my peers in high school . I use past examination question papers and tests to help familiarise the student with the questioning . I use exercises , diagrams , figures and clips from Youtube to help the student remember information , I also print out diagrams and figures for student's so that they have their information in visuals which helps with memory . Students are required to compile questions of the content they do not understand so that it is attended to at the beginning of a class . They can also send me emails & texts at anytime when they are experiencing issues with content . I am proficient in English , IsiXhosa , Isizulu , SeSotho , SeTswana , Sepedi and I can understand TshiVenda . The lessons are student paced , we do the lessons according to the student's ability and flexibility .
