About Maria

I am a knowledgeable and enthusiastic BSc Psychology student and I have been utilising my passion for teaching and my strong sense of discipline to help young students understand and enjoy Mathematics, Science, and English for the past years. - Possessing relevant A-Level and GCSE level qualifications in Mathematics, Science, and English - Voluntarily tutored GCSE and Primary level children in my community, I am eager to assist students on a larger scale

About the lesson

My objective is to educate, understand, and engage my pupils with my experience and knowledge. I understand that every student is unique which is why no two lesson plans will be the same, I will plan and organise your lesson in a way that best fits your needs. My kind and nurturing personality allows me to help my pupils overcome challenges in their Maths, Science, and English studies, whilst also learning skills that they can transfer to real-life scenarios, in order to be intellectually and socially intelligent members of society. During the 1-hour sessions, I help pupils tackle challenging topics by dividing these into small sections. This not only makes the problem much easier to solve, but also provides students with a sense of immediate gratification, whilst also developing their organisational skills which they can transfer to real-life situations.

I have known Maria for nearly two years now and she is an amazing person. When it comes to teaching she is so calm and she really takes her time to explain things.
She has helped me multiple times with the maths side of my architecture course. She really knows her stuff! She explains everything so clearly and if I don't understand something the first time round she will always find another way to explain.
Maria is very reliable and organized and I cannot recommend her enough!
