About Ella
Hi! I'm a Bachelor of Science (Physics) student at the University of Canterbury with a strong interest in math, physics, and logical problem solving. I want to teach because I know how confusing math and science can feel at a younger age. Having clear explanations and a supportive teacher makes a huge difference and that is the kind of help I aim to provide.

My focus is on strong foundations - understanding why things work, not just memorizing formulas. I explain concepts step by step and adjust my pace to suit each student, making lessons relaxed and supportive. I focus on NCEA level 1 Prep, with students in year 7-10. My aim is to help students build confidence and feel more comfortable with math and science, especially before moving into NCEA.
