About Dean
Firstly academically, I sat Biology at A-Level and since have enjoyed it to a point I wanted to do it as a degree. I am now planning on completing my PhD after my BSc to further my interest into Ebola virus and filoviruses.
I have taught for long periods of time throughout both secondary and sixth form. In secondary I acted as a mentor for junior students in the school, and also was a senior instructor in my school cadets. In sixth form I tutored GCSE students and also continued the cadets. This variety of teaching skills has enabled me to know what is best for my students to learn and understand their content in a manner they enjoy and find interesting.

I currently study Medical Microbiology with a special interest in viral mechanisms of filoviruses like Ebola.
Each lesson will comprise of:
- a PowerPoint with detailed information
- reference pages for more information on certain topics
- exam style questions with a mark scheme
- time to discuss the content and work together on questions to find solutions
- lessons will be 1hr long minimum - longer lessons can be discussed
I will be available during my lesson times, but also can be emailed at any point with questions you may have.
