About Tanisha
I have an undergrad degree in mathematics honours from Lady Shri Ram College for Women in Delhi. I currently teach middle school mathematics in a school in Auroville (an experimental international township in Tamil Nadu) and tutor children at home. I teach to share my admiration for this language of nature.
Being a school teacher, I am good at balancing a course load and needed scores along with all the games and fun. In my class, you can be assured of a safe space to learn and ask questions. I see regularly that the 'work' is easy once the child is curious to learn and explore his/her own mind. My students often are often asking for extra homework and more tests, and children I tutor have seen marked improvements in their scores (one jumping from a score of 30% to 65% in just 2 months).

"Math is not for me" is an impossibility. We are mathematical beings by design. Hunters were the first embodied mathematicians! Math is the art of enquiry, a hunt for truth. Whether you're an adult or a child, math is for everyone. So come see for yourself.
My methodology focuses on uncovering the mathematical wisdom of all in the spirit of Integral Education through pattern recognition, games, and philosophy woven into the classwork. Needless to say, every individual has a unique way of thinking and I build on that.
If you're genuinely interested in cultivating in yourself or your child the ability to admire this mathematical world we find ourselves in, hop on board. And the scores come, I assure you, armed with sincere interest and curiosity.
If scores and competition are your only priority though, I would recommended a different teacher, there are several here with vastly better credentials for hacking the system.
