About Daniel
Howdy there, my name is Daniel and I have spent the last nine years teaching and living abroad in Australia, the UK, Bali and now, New Zealand. I have two beautiful French Bulldogs named Lulu and Bull, which keep me very busy! Any free time other than that I enjoy keeping active with running, Cross Training and yoga.
I have loved teaching Maths and Science all over the world and I have a passion connecting with learners that need that little extra support.

I have taught in traditional and alternative educational environments which has shaped my teaching philosophy to be grounded in relationship and context of learning. I tailor my sessions to be relatable to my learners so that they enjoy the challenge of achieving new levels of understanding in maths and science. My priority is to empower my learners to love learning rather than simply completing required tasks. Typical sessions run from 30 - 60 minutes. I have 9 years of experience teaching in the classroom and 5 years supporting learners in tutoring. I typically support learners from Middle School and High School, from ages 14 - 18 years old.
