About Kaaviya
I’m currently studying BSc Economics at the University of Bath, with a strong background in Mathematics and Further Mathematics from my A-levels. Surprisingly, maths wasn’t always my favourite subject—I used to find it challenging and frustrating. But over time, I learnt to approach it differently, focusing on understanding rather than just memorisation. That shift not only helped me excel academically but also sparked my interest in problem-solving and analytical thinking. Now, I enjoy tutoring because I know firsthand how daunting maths can seem, and I want to help students build confidence and find their own way of understanding it.

As a dedicated GCSE Maths tutor, I focus on making complex concepts clear and approachable, tailoring each lesson to the student’s individual needs. As someone who recently completed their A-levels, I also understand the challenges that students face in maths lessons, and hope to build their confidence alongside their skills. With this patience and support, I believe that students can both improve their grades and gain a deeper understanding of maths beyond exams.
