About Samarth
Hi! I’m Samarth, and I’m currently studying Economics at university. I’ve always enjoyed understanding how economics connects to the real world, from businesses and financial markets to everyday decisions we make.
I want to teach because I enjoy helping people understand things that might initially seem difficult. I know that sometimes a topic only becomes clear when it’s explained in a different way, so I aim to make my lessons relaxed, interactive and tailored to each student.
Outside of academics, I enjoy cricket and football, and I’ve also taken part in Model United Nations and economics competitions. These experiences have helped me develop my communication and teamwork skills, which I bring into my tutoring.
Whether you’re preparing for an exam, struggling with a particular topic, or simply want to become more confident in Economics, I’ll work with you at your own pace and make sure you understand the reasoning behind each concept.
I’m looking forward to helping you build your confidence and hopefully enjoy Economics as much as I do!

My approach to tutoring is centred around making lessons engaging, supportive and tailored to each student’s needs. I aim to help students understand the reasoning behind a concept rather than simply memorising information.
I typically begin by identifying the student’s current understanding and areas they find challenging. I then explain concepts using simple examples before gradually introducing more challenging questions. I like to use questioning throughout the lesson to check understanding and encourage students to explain their thinking. I also adapt my approach depending on how the student learns best, whether that involves diagrams, real-world examples, practice questions or discussion.
My typical lesson would be around 60 minutes, although I am happy to adapt the structure depending on the student’s needs and level.
I am currently studying Economics at university and have developed a strong interest in economics through my academic studies, independent projects and extracurricular activities. I have also gained experience explaining ideas through presentations, Model United Nations and writing for my school bulletin. While I am relatively new to formal tutoring, these experiences have developed my communication, patience and ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
I am particularly interested in tutoring Economics to GCSE and A-Level students. My aim is to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence in the subject.
