About Chinkee
I have been conducting private and group tutorials (in general subjects both in primary and high school level - English, Sciences, Mathematics) since my college years, with high student satisfaction and improvement in their academic standing. After earning my Bacehlor's degree in Food Technology, I joined the academic team at a specialized science high school, where I handled subjects like Chemistry, Research Methods, and Introductory Food Science and Technology. I also coached students in regional and national competitions in science and research, with excellent results (like bagging the national championship in chemistry Olympiad, winning the top spot in a research competion). During school breaks, I conduct review sessions for students who are taking university entrance examinations, similar to SATs in the United States. In my teaching profession, I consistently received excellent feedback from my students and peers.

I employ a variety of teaching techniques (like inquiry-based instruction, cooperative learning, use of graphic organizers, design thinking / case method, etc.) depending on my type of students. I usually start with a brief introduction about the lesson on hand, as I slowly provide background on the major topics to be discussed. Along the way, I raise questions to stimulate the students, and at the end, I usually give a short exercise to evaluate how much the students have learned.
