About Tom
My name is Tom Yao. I'm a college student majoring in physics at Brown University. I've prioritized education throughout all of high school. I've previously tutored students on Khan Academy's Schoolhouse website and have worked in person with kids from my high school. I self-studied a lot in high school and my favorite quote comes from a MIT OpenCourseWare video on engineering dynamics: "MIT students aren't much different from sixth graders when it comes to learning. It's just that the sixth graders are a little more transparent."
