About Kasim

I am a Biomedical Science graduate from Keele University (UK) with an upper division degree and two years of private tutoring experience in the UK. I specialize in supporting students studying Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and GCSE level, helping them build a strong understanding of key scientific concepts.

I enjoy helping students understand science in a clear and simple way, especially those who may be struggling or lacking confidence in the subject. I believe that with the right explanations and support, every student can improve and feel more comfortable with science.

During my tutoring experience, I have worked with students of different abilities and learning styles, which has helped me develop a friendly, patient, and supportive approach. I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.

I am passionate about supporting students who find science difficult and helping them build confidence in their abilities. My aim is to make science more accessible and enjoyable while helping students improve their understanding and achieve better results in school.

About the lesson

My lessons are delivered online in a clear, structured, and supportive way. I adapt each session to the student’s individual needs, whether they require help catching up with schoolwork, preparing for exams, or strengthening their understanding of key scientific concepts. I focus on explaining topics step by step and making complex ideas easier to understand.

I regularly support students with topics across all three sciences, including:
- Biology, Chemistry, and Physics concepts for KS3 and GCSE
- Understanding key scientific principles and exam-style questions
- Revision strategies and exam preparation
- Homework and coursework support
- Building confidence in problem-solving and scientific thinking

I aim to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them build confidence and a stronger interest in science.

Lessons are conducted online, and I provide clear explanations, practice questions, and feedback to support continued improvement.

I offer an initial session to assess the student’s needs and create a personalised learning plan to help them succeed.
