About the lesson

As a student that has just finished high school, I know that learning things can be difficult, especially if it was something that just didn't quite make sense. Having someone to explain things to me was such an important part of my learning as that was what made the difference for me in my final exams.

As a tutor I will assist the student in the best way I can to help them reach their target. Understanding the criteria for each assessment is the first step as it is vital to be aware of what the markers are looking for. Developing healthy study habits are also super important as being efficient with your learning can be the difference between studying 24/7 and feeling disappointed after not reaching your goals, and studying for a few hours each day and achieving high, as well as having enough time to enjoy your social life.

To me, every student is unique as they each have a different goal that they want to achieve. Everyone learns differently and I believe that finding the right method for them is the key to success. I can easily adjust my teaching style accordingly to suit with each student - if they find things too easy, I will look for ways to challenge them, or if they just want to focus on the basics, I will pinpoint the areas for practice.
