About Brad

I've performed in shows and festivals across QLD, developed and consulted on scripts for productions held at the Gold Coast Arts Centre (now HOTA), directed a show held at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, and hugged a stingray (it was lovely). Though it has been a while, I ran workshops in schools that guided students to a better understanding of character building, script analysis, and improvisation. In more recent years, I have taken up individual study of storytelling, with particular influence from David Truby and Dan Harmon (of Rick and Morty fame).

About the lesson

My teaching method will depend entirely on what you're after. I believe in adaptability in achieving goals and problem-solving, which means I can tailor-make the sessions to what I feel will reward you with the most satisfying results. So let me know whether you're trying to create character, analyze a script, understand story, or just need an extra set of eyes and a constructively critical voice to help get the best out of you!

I've known Brad for almost three years, and we have worked together on various acting and comedy projects.

With a laid-back style and enthusiastically collaborative approach, Brad encourages experimentation and exploration of ideas, with the express intention of getting a better performance.

In 2017, alongside another performer, we wrote, directed, produced and acted in a sold-out comedy show, for which Brad was principle writer and director.

I do not hesitate in recommending Brad on Superprof; his experience and dedicated work/performance ethic are top-notch. He excels at focusing on what is required to get the best from himself and other actors in the same scene and he embraces people's unique characteristics, knowing they are strengths.
