About Jordan
I am a hardworking and passionate Piano tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, dedicated to guiding school and college students towards excellence. Music has always inspired me, and sharing that inspiration with my students gives me great joy. Over the years, I have helped learners progress from simple exercises to performing complex pieces with confidence.
Preparing students for stage performances and watching them receive appreciation has been a meaningful milestone in my career. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clarity, and consistency. I focus on building a strong foundation through correct posture, finger strength, rhythm control, scales, and music reading skills.
Once students gain confidence, I encourage expressive playing and creative interpretation. I believe every student has unique potential, and I work hard to identify and nurture their strengths.
I maintain a supportive and disciplined learning environment where students feel comfortable to improve. Piano learning not only develops musical ability but also improves concentration, memory, and self-belief. My mission is to inspire students to practice regularly, stay dedicated, and develop a lifelong passion for music.

My piano teaching methodology is centred on nurturing confident, disciplined, and expressive musicians through Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity.
I begin by evaluating the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then create a clear step-by-step learning path. Motivation is maintained through achievable milestones and positive encouragement. Communication is clear and supportive, helping students understand chord structures, rhythm patterns, dynamic expression, and performance techniques in an easy way.
Integrity ensures that I remain dedicated, organised, and honest in tracking student progress. Creativity is integrated into lessons through improvisation exercises, songwriting basics, and exploring various musical styles. Along with piano, I also teach harmony, ear training, sight reading, and keyboard techniques to provide strong and lasting musical foundations.
