About Lana
I have been teaching biology for more than 3 years, with an MSc in Immunology supporting my academic foundation. My passion, however, lies in marine biology and oceanography. I am fascinated by the beauty and complexity of marine ecosystems. I share this passion with students by making biology engaging, interactive, and inspiring. My lessons focus on coral reefs, ocean currents, and the effects of human activity on marine life. I use documentaries, case studies, and visual resources to make concepts clear and memorable. Students explore the survival strategies of deep-sea organisms and the global role of ocean circulation. I teach learners to think critically about conservation and sustainability. My approach balances exam preparation with curiosity-driven exploration. I adapt lessons to different learners, from test-takers to explorers. I believe that biology should help students see the interconnectedness of life. Lessons emphasize how small changes can alter entire ecosystems. I guide students step by step, making complex ideas simple and manageable. My goal is to build both confidence and curiosity. Biology is not only about learning facts—it is about asking questions and understanding patterns. I want learners to leave every lesson with knowledge, awareness, and inspiration. My biology teaching style is shaped by patience and reflection. I focus on microbiology, bacteria, viruses, and the biology of disease.
