About Cecelia
Most musicians think speed is the goal, yet I spent 8 years performing in NYC tours learning that control defines the artist. My training as a BM graduate in piano helps me break down complex posture and hand position problems for my 264 students.
I emphasize rhythm and timing alongside chord voicing and pop and contemporary styles. Sight reading, jazz improvisation, and scales and arpeggios are core to my method. Memorization techniques round out my approach as I share my experience from the stage to help you thrive.

Pianos are loud. We focus on the nuance of touch while maintaining a relaxed physical state during every practice session. Free access to my annotated practice notes after every lesson ensures you never forget a key correction from our time together. Having performed for 8 years, I translate those live lessons into your immediate progress.
