Jack was one of my teacher when I studied at Santa Barbara in EF school. I can remember all the courses with Jack because he has the power to captivate his students. He always tried to catch our attention with new ideas, for instance, he used to teach us the prononciation for some words with songs. I can remember exactly all the lyrics thanks to him aha ! Jack is a sunshine, he always makes sure you feel comfortable and happy.

Jack was and he is still the best teacher I ever had in my entire life. He taught me a lot in many spheres of my life. He teaches me how to love to learn a language and how to be grateful for life. His philosophy and experiences bring a lot to his students. I was fascinated every day of school with him. I don’t know how, but with Jack, it was easy to learn like it was an activity and not homework or a task.
I remember our first task to do in his class. This task was about writing 3 things that we are grateful for today. This task changed my life. While we were learning English for this task, we were also learning how to love our life together. How to be grateful for simple little things. This was the key to love learning a language. Indeed, learning English can be hard sometimes and we can lose motivation through time. But with the way that Jack teaches us, I couldn’t lose my motivation. He was using different methods and tools every week. Those methods and tools brought dynamism and creativity to the class. It could be in writing, reading, talking as a “normal” class will do, but Jack brings more than that. We were doing other things such as signing, presenting a topic, moving, talking about our experiences... I really liked his way of teaching, and unfortunately Jack was my teacher for just a few weeks.
As a good teacher Jack is a creative, motivated, comprehensible, attentive, funny and conscious teacher. He has a lot of strengths. He could adapt his teaching to the needs of the students for maximizing their leanings. We laugh a lot with him. I also loved to learn more about his experiences of life.
Brief, I don’t see the world in the same way as before I had him as a teacher. Maybe he was my teacher, but he also teaches a lot around them without even meeting them. For example, I talked a lot about him to my family and friends and I impacted them also about how to love life and how to be motivated to learn English.
Everybody should be motivated to learn English with Jack. Although English is one of the most important languages of the world, learning English with Jack makes it so more effective.

Jack is an unique and outstanding teacher. I have been able to learn a lot in his lessons. He is eager to continuously improve and adapt the lessons to the level and needs of his students. He offers the opportunity to ask questions after class as well. I felt free to ask him for help, whenever I needed to. He was the first teacher who was able to help me with my English pronunciation. I still remember his various teaching methods. He taught me how to get better in English with simple practice techniques I can do at home. He really cares about the people and students around him. After years, he still helps me, when I have any questions about English or life. During the Pandemic, he also offered online meetings to give us the opportunity to practice English more and meet new people. I really recommend studying English with Jack. He finds ways to achieve goals together and he offers an excellent learning environment. Since he is very interested in different cultures, he developed a broad knowledge about people, culture and countries.

Jack, has been my best English teacher I ever had, since he taught me how to speak English fluently and confidently. So, I can say that, he is a nice person, very kind and so professional. Thanks to him I could enhance my English up to advanced level, he apply strategies, techniques and methodologies very properly in accordance to the lesson. His Classes are always focused on the context of the real life and that why I considered I was able to learn so much from him. Interactive Speaking practice, listening, reading and writing skill.
I recommend him as a great teacher of English language and a very patient, kind and funny in his classes( no boring).

I started to study English 10 year ago , I didn't progresed during that period of time because I took English classes in Spanish, plus it was just grammar and vocabulary. in 2021 I got a course online with teacher Jacobo i wasn't able to establish a conversation, but studying with him I gained confident because of his method of teaching is based in the student , pronunciation, real English not academic English, in gaining confident practicing conversion back to back . he inspire confidence he traet his student like friends. Now I am able to speak English with natives or non-native of English language. I gained confidence and a friend.

I never saw a teacher so passionate and teaching with all this heart like he did. he never made his students feel bad for making a mistake. The way he teaches and explains have always been fun and easy to understand.
