About Astrid
I am Astrid, born in Beijing, China. I'm currently studying Biomedical science at King's College London. I'm new to the country and the city but I believe communication is the key to learn and to know a place better. I would love to teach more people Mandarin and at the same time get to know British culture.

Depending on the level of flucency, I would like to incorperate my teaching with every day topic, different cultural perspective. I will focus on pronounciation because it's quite difficult and different from English. I would also love to teach studetns some slangs and phrases so that the language becomes more practical. I will also make good use of the internet and find interesting media sources to lighten up the studying experience.
