About Gideon
I am a second-year medical student with a strong academic background in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I took these subjects at A-level, achieving an A in each subject and also took the EPQ, which I achieved an A* in. Having successfully navigated these subjects and the medical school application process, I understand the challenges that students face and the techniques that are needed to excel. I am approachable and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing a genuine understanding of each subject.

My lessons are tailored to the student's goals, whether this is improving confidence, improving core knowledge or achieving top GCSE and A-level grades. I think it is important to build a solid foundation of basic knowledge before tackling exam-style questions. This will help students to understand the actual concepts and apply knowledge to exam questions, rather than simply memorising methods.
As a second-year medical student, I understand the studying methods and skills that are required to excel in such demanding subjects. Lessons will be adapted to the student's pace and interactive. I will ensure there are plenty of opportunities to ask questions. I will provide revision strategies, targeted practice and exam tips to ensure that students are able to perform confidently in assessments.
