Hello! I’m Severen Henderson, a man of many hats and a heart full of passion. At the core of my diverse life, I’m a dedicated firefighter and first responder, constantly ready to leap into action, whether it’s battling a blaze or empowering minds. Beyond the fire station, I wear the inspiring hat of an Empowerment Coach. My journey hasn’t been just about extinguishing fires; it’s also about igniting potential in people. This led me to author “Hey New Guy! The Candidate’s Guide to a Long, Strong, and Healthy Career,” a testament to my dedication to guiding others. My world is a vibrant tapestry of hobbies and interests, from immersing myself in writing and creating to cherishing moments with my kids. I’m a connoisseur of life, finding joy in everything from old-school hip-hop and R&B to the latest tech and gadgets. My passion for fitness, fashion, and finance reflects my multifaceted personality. As a life coach, I aspire to be a well-known figure, leveraging my creativity to touch lives. My goal is to weave my varied experiences into empowering narratives, helping others navigate their paths with wisdom and resilience. In every role, whether responding to emergencies, coaching, podcasting, or just being a dad, I bring a blend of seriousness and humor, realism and idealism, always aiming to make a positive impact. About the lesson

In my ESL lessons, I blend my diverse experiences as a firefighter, empowerment coach, and author to create a dynamic, engaging learning environment. My teaching style is far from conventional; it’s interactive, personalized, and infused with real-world applications.

Each lesson plan is carefully crafted to align with your unique interests and learning goals. Whether it’s through exploring the intricacies of English in the context of video games, dissecting lyrics from classic hip-hop and R&B, or discussing the latest tech and gadgets, my aim is to make the learning process as relatable and enjoyable as possible.

I also incorporate elements from my book, “Hey New Guy! The Candidate’s Guide to a Long, Strong, and Healthy Career,” to instill confidence and effective communication skills. With a focus on practical usage, you’ll find yourself not just learning English, but living it through conversations, storytelling, and creative exercises.

Above all, my approach is flexible and adaptive, recognizing that each student’s journey is unique. Whether you’re a beginner seeking to build a strong foundation or an intermediate learner looking to refine your skills, my lessons are tailored to suit your pace and preferences.
