My tutoring approach is centred around making learning engaging and accessible for students aged 6-13. I use a mix of interactive activities, practical exercises, and tailored reading materials to cater to each student's unique learning style.
Techniques and Methodology:
I believe in a student-focused approach, where I assess the individual needs of each child and adapt my lessons accordingly. I incorporate a blend of phonics for spelling, comprehension exercises for reading, and discussions for literature to ensure a well-rounded understanding. I also use real-world examples and encourage active participation to make the lessons more relatable and enjoyable.
Lesson Structure:
Each lesson is 1 hour long, typically divided into segments:
10 minutes for warm-up and review of previous material
40 minutes for the core lesson
10 minutes for recap and setting goals for the next session
Qualifications and Experience:
With one year of tutoring experience across schools in East and South London, I have successfully helped students improve their English skills by creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
