Dancer and choreographer for over 20 years. High School and Middle School teacher of over 20 years - Science and Civics were my areas of expertise. Having a teacher that is gentle, encouraging, creative and understanding of learning styles and best practices makes a huge difference. Oftentimes great dancers are not necessarily good teachers, you're left on your own then on ways to figure out how to learn the steps and memorize the sequence while adding expression and being in-sync with the beat.
