About Jennifer
My name is Jennifer and I am passionate about equipping aspiring musicians with the skills they desire to pursue their musical goals. I am currently completing my bachelor's of music degree and intend to pursue my career in music education. I have been playing piano for 13 years now, and teaching for 2. I completed my ABRSM grade 6/7 examinations in high school before starting university and I am currently starting my Licentiate level performance as I enter my last year of study. I can teach a wide variety of repertoire within the various classical music syllabi in South Africa. I specialize in aural training and can also teach sight reading.

My approach to teaching music reflects my personal belief that anyone and everyone can learn music and I strive to have a flexible teaching style that adapts to each student. My lessons are in English. A typical lesson with me would include an hour-long lesson of practical participation and demonstration with music theory integrated throughout the lesson. My approach is ideal for beginner/intermediate pianists.
