About Esmarie
Music and music education has always been my passion. I recently graduated from the University of Pretoria with a BMus Cum Laude. I have 2 years experience working with students of all ages and currently work as a music teacher at multiple schools. I aim to make music and singing lessons as enjoyable as both I and the student find music to be. Other than teaching, I have experience in live performance and perform around Gauteng as a solo artist, or with the multiple bands I have projects with.

There are as many ways to approach a lesson as there are students. Students communicate their personal singing desires and needs, and I prepare lessons to each individual, ensuring interest and enjoyment in the process. Lessons usually consist of going over previous lessons and practices, followed by warm-ups and helpful exercises, and mostly consisting of singing and workshopping songs in your chosen genre. Lessons are available to students of any age and skill level! I have experience teaching 4-year-olds to 70-year-olds, and I love it all! I am proficient in teaching in both English and Afrikaans.
