About Julie

Hello, My name is Julie, I am a graduate professor of Pilates and a former dancer. I experienced the last years of dance as something limiting in the sense that I wanted to be able to express what I had in me, more than wanting to follow a very specific choreography and movements. The past years and during my many travels I was inspired by what I saw and felt while being abroad and it is in Ecuador, during the confinement, that I created this exploration proposal. of our emotions through dance and free movement! The people who accompanied me during the dances or who followed my online program felt that it had allowed them to go much further than a therapy where we stay in the mental sphere or even a yoga class, in which we reproduce despite everything postures. Here, it is what you have in you that will be expressed! Looking forward to meeting you, Warmly, Julie

About the lesson

Inspired by various practices, biodanza, ecstatic dance, 5 rhythms, active kundalini. Blooming dance aims to raise energy by connecting to our bodily sensations through dance and free movement. We all have energies blocked at some level and to a certain degree. It is not always easy to feel them, especially if a conscious body practice is not practiced on a regular basis. The Blooming dance comes (r) awakening the 7 chakras, in other words our energy centers. The music is conscientiously chosen to come and create vibrations in resonance with our chakras and our essence. Imagine the chakra acting like a “radio frequency”. As you advance in the practice, the vibrational frequencies will become lighter and lighter. It is possible to feel foreign sensations, more or less uncomfortable emotions. You may have realizations, energy blockages, longing desires. The Blooming dance is designed so that you can express yourself through the body in the most natural and organic way possible. Tell yourself that you practice a liberating meditation by the body and this in a safe and encouraging environment! The music has different inspirations and will make you travel in different ways! (Re) connect to your essence and your deepest feelings!
