I am a student at the University of Nottingham. I always enjoyed English at school. I got very good grades at GCSE level in English and hope to help you too. I am an avid reader, and always have a book recommendation for any genre at any level.

I strongly believe that sometimes the students with the most knowledge on a subject will get poor marks in exams simply because they do not know how to answer exam questions in a way which the mark schemes will award marks. I focus on exam technique and practice with my students. I personalise each lesson to each pupil to ensure that they get the most out of each session. My lessons are typically an hour long, but find that it is sometimes helpful to split that hour into two and have one session at the begining of the week and one towards the end, so that students can do any homework that I set which I will then provide detailed feedback on. I have experience teaching AQA, Edexcel and OCR GCSE.
