About Alex
I am a language-lover who is bilingual in Japanese and English. I gained much of my teaching experience in Ibaraki, Japan, where I lived for over two years as a teacher in local schools. I also am an avid runner and reader with a huge love of music and films!

I focus on providing lessons with thoroughness and student-specific pacing that help students attain a deeper level of topic understanding than is usually developed in classroom settings. By frequently encouraging students to make their own assessments of the information and making their own hypotheses, they become invested in the answers and are much more likely to take everything onboard.
