About Iona
I am a medical student with a previous degree in Biomedical Sciences. I have three years of tutoring experience in science and English language and literature. I have also worked at outdoor centres teaching practical sailing and windsurfing lessons so know how to make learning fun and engaging.

My teaching methods aim to engage and interest my students. I can teach from primary to degree level science across disciplines and use a range of techniques to make each topic relevant and memorable. I think that working at the right pace for students is extremely important and use notes, quizzes, diagrams and discussion to help with learning.
