About Hajar
I am a Biomedical Sciences student at the University of Manchester, with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have always had a passion for the sciences, particularly Biology and Chemistry (hence why I did them for my A levels and now studying a biology degree at University!) and I enjoy helping students understand challenging topics and build their confidence in the STEM subjects. I am patient, friendly and approachable, and my biggest aim is creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning from those mistakes. I understand that each student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each student and focus on helping them achieve their goals.

- I offer tutoring in GCSE Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Combined Science up to GCSE level.
- Achieved grades 9-9 in Combined Science and 8 in Maths.
- Previous experience in tutoring Maths in primary schools.
- My approach is friendly, patient and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style.
- I focus on breaking down difficult topics into simpler, more manageable steps, and using clear explanations, worked examples and repeated practised questions.
- Lessons typically last 1-2 hours according to student’s needs.
