About Jiya
I am a Biomedical Science student at King's College London who excels in biology, chemistry and maths. Personally, I have always been a hardworking student who has used efficient studying methods to score the highest percentages in any exam. I hope to pass on those valuable techniques to my students so that they can also unlock their potential. I strongly believe that every student has vast amounts of hidden, locked up academic potential that requires unlocking; and with access to the right teaching methods, any student can achieve the highest grades. I promise my teaching methods will become the key to unlocking great grades!

My mathematics, chemistry and biology lessons are for GCSE students as well as any student from year 7 to year 11. I am well aware of exam techniques and plan to teach them to my students accordingly. I specifically teach content for students aiming for grades 7,8 or 9. Each lesson will typically be one hour long and will usually include recall quizzes, teaching new content, going through exam questions, brainstorming on topics and assessing progress. Homework may be allocated according to the student's own preference and needs. Lessons will be interactive throughout so that the student remains interested and carefully absorbs the information being taught.
