I'm thrilled to be your Biology Tutor, guiding you through the wonders of the biological world. My name is Zeeshan, and I currently hold a degree in Biomedical Sciences. Additionally, I am pursuing a Masters in Genomic Medicine at Imperial College, further fueling my passion for the subject.

Most sessions would run between one to two hours, with a five minute break halfway through (if required). My tutoring expertise comes from assisting and guiding peers in study groups, where I would explain concepts by breaking them down in to something simpler and digestible. More often than not it was with the use of diagrams and case studies.
With a standard session I hope to have the following layout. creating a session based on what the student is studying, so as to reinforce what has been learnt in class. These sessions would be suitable for GCSE biology & chemistry students, Biology A-Level students and First year undergrad students studying biological degree.
Introduction:
-Greetings and an overview of the lesson.
-Asking if the student has any questions about set tasks or question about previous sessions.
-As well as debrief of any marked work and points to improve.
Main:
-Discussions based around the topic (e.g. Photosynthesis) , with diagrams and presentations.
-Break down of difficult concepts into bite size chunks so it more understandable.
Conclusion:
-Question and answer session to evaluate comprehension of the material.
-Finishing off with any additional questions about the session.
Alternate sessions for exam preparation would also be available, by going through past papers together and working on exam technique. Building on each session by targeting weak spots and rectifying them.
