About Olgar

I am currently a Master of Science student at Wits University who completed my undergraduate degree in biomedical science with an A. I have always been the smart girl who enjoyed helping fellow students understand schoolwork and hoped to inspire them with the zeal to learn. Tutoring students in the past 4 years has allowed me to do exactly that and I am excited that I get to keep tutoring with Superprof.

About the lesson

I enjoy tutoring high school (grades 8-12) Maths with English as the language of instruction.

I seek to teach the student based on their level and learning style. The best way to help someone improve is to identify where they are and how you can help them overcome the barriers keeping them there.

When it comes to Maths especially, practice is imperative. Star wars fans know that Yoda would say, "Fail you will if practice you don't." This is why practice questions and mock tests are a part of my lesson plans.
