My name is Andres, I am originally from Colombia but have spent the past 6 years in the UK pursuing further education in the natural sciences with a special interest in developmental biology and genetics. I enjoy teaching and helping others discover the best approach to learning for them.

I believe in developing a customised lesson plan to address the needs of each individual student. Lessons are aimed at pre-university level biology from GCSE to A levels and will build a solid foundation of key concepts to give students the tools to learn more advanced concepts later on. Lessons will typically be 45 mins-1 hour as less time is usually not enough for students to internalise the new information learnt. I am also happy to do longer lessons if the student requires extra support or has an important deadline/exam coming up.
