About Mathusha
My name is Mathusha Jeyakanthan. I am an undergraduate Biomedical science student at Aston University. I am graduating this year and plan on being a Physicians associate. I worked very hard to be at this position and I assure you with the correct guidance, skills package and confidence that you will also achieve what you want to do! The length of the lessons will either be one or two hours long depending on what is needed for the child. At the end of every lesson, I will ask what the student would like to cover for the next week's lessons so that I can collect all the resources, exam questions etc needed for the next session. If the child has a test I will be more than happy to teach them exam technique as well as content. Students are allowed to, change their minds during the week about what content they would like to be taught, however a notice of 24 hours prior will be needed so again I can collate the necessary resources.
lesson style format:
- Explaining the content
-testing understanding through resources or questions
- Checking understanding of the content through exam-style questions
-using mark schemes together with the student to verify what examiners would want and if the student fully understands the concept.
ABOUT ME:
I am an Undergraduate Biomedical science student at Aston University. I am graduating this year an then I will do my Masters to be a physicians associate.
Experience: I have worked as a teaching assistant alongside my degree in primary and secondary schools and 16th form for three years. I am well equipped to teach English, Maths and Science. Prior to University i tutored an 8 year old girl, 5 year old boy and another 12 year old regarding the same subjects.
