About Emma
I am a 5th-year Biomed student giving private tutoring lessons for over four years. I just finished my bachelor's this year and am returning next year to finish my minor. I previously had a tutoring job with the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board for summer school. While working for the school board, I taught four students, all receiving better marks than they ever had in their respective classes. Through this position, I have also gained experience working with students who have an IEP and speak English as a second language. I have taken all senior science classes.

I go step by step through assignments and tests, explaining topics as per the student's request. I also create questions to log the progress of my students. I teach the material in a way that is unique to each student to maximize the student's understanding. I rely on multiple sources for lesson material but rely heavily on the student's textbook and notes. I believe that everyone can learn anything, as long as the teacher explains in a way that the student understands. I learn the academic schedule of my students to better organize my lesson plan.
