About Kevin

Hi! I'm Kevin — a first-year medical student and dedicated tutor here to support you on your academic journey. If you're studying for your GCSEs or A-Levels, I've been in your shoes. I know how overwhelming exams can feel, and I want to share the proven strategies I learned along the way to help you study smarter, not just harder. I went to a competitive grammar school, and at times, I struggled to keep up while balancing academics with sports, music, and social life. What changed everything for me was shifting from working all day to working smart — and that's exactly what I aim to help my students do. My approach to tutoring focuses on: - Planning: building personalised study plans and timetables to stay on track and avoid last-minute stress - Interactive learning: to make sessions enjoyable and memorable - Spaced repetition: so information sticks long-term - Mock exams and past papers: to build confidence and exam technique (this is key!) Exams will always be part of life, so I also aim to equip you with lifelong skills to manage your time, revision, and mindset effectively — not just for one test, but for the many challenges ahead. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy tennis, running, playing music and travelling. I’m also more than happy to offer guidance if you're thinking about applying to medicine or curious about what life as a medical student is really like.

About the lesson

I teach based directly on your exam board’s specification to ensure complete and efficient coverage before exam season.

My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student's learning style and goals.

I also provide: - Mock exams and exam technique guidance - Custom-made revision resources - A long-term study plan built around school exams and final assessments - Support with spaced repetition to strengthen memory and avoid last-minute cramming - Medical application, personal statement and general advice on medicine.

Whether you're aiming to boost your confidence or secure top grades, I’ll work closely with you to make sure your revision is focused, structured, and effective.
