About Jana

Hi! I’m Jana, a Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Birmingham, where I graduated with First Class Honors. I achieved a 7 in IB Biology and have been tutoring Biology online for the past year, including IB Biology students in Grades 11–12, two of whom went on to achieve a 7. Whether you’re studying IB, IGCSE, A-Level, or just want some extra help with Biology, I’m happy to work with you! Having gone through the IB myself and then studied Biomedical Science at university, I know Biology can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I like to break things down into simple, clear explanations and focus on actually understanding rather than just memorizing. I’m friendly, patient and easy to talk to, and I’ll always tailor lessons to what you need, whether that’s catching up on a topic, preparing for an exam, or aiming for a top grade. I’d love to help you feel more confident in Biology :)

About the lesson

I make Biology clear, structured and easier to understand, with a focus on understanding, exam technique and results. I use simple explanations, diagrams, active recall and exam-style questions to help students understand difficult concepts and apply them confidently. For IB students, I also focus on past papers, mark schemes and the exam technique needed to reach a 7. Biology.

•A-Level Biology
• IGCSE / GCSE Biology
• General Biology Lessons

Lessons are 60 minutes and personalized to each student’s level, goals and upcoming exams. Whether you need help with a difficult topic, exam preparation or aiming for a top grade, we’ll focus on exactly what you need to improve.
